Julia Wallace

Julia Wallace is the Training Lead for NOAA’s Center of Excellence for Operational Ocean and Great Lakes Mapping. Prior to this role, she was a Physical Scientist with NOAA's Office of Coast Survey for five years, working with the Atlantic Hydrographic Branch in Norfolk, VA. Her professional experience includes field hydrography, survey planning and oversight, and training and education. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the University of Washington. Outside of work, she loves cooking, solving puzzles, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, son, and two adorable pups.
